After 20 days in the hospital I’m happy to say I’m finally going home. I’ve had no fever for the last 5 days. My last chest X-ray showed improvement. I can breathe again. I feel like a new person. Happy Wednesday. It was happy when I wrote those two words which were over an hour ago. My phone has been ringing since. Nothing bad but diverting my attention away from the blog. Then things happened at once. Minx was about to go with my aide to the vet and he got sick. He hasn’t had anything to eat since 6pm yesterday. Why would he be sick again? During Boomer’s memorial I put his old collar around his urn. He didn’t wear his collar much, he hated his collar, but it had all his tags and it just seemed fitting. I don’t know when I moved to a standard chain as a collar or started using the leash alone as a collar, but I know it was for the majority of his life.
