Giving up the scale post 3

The scale number wasn’t as friendly today. When I look in the mirror I feel better though.  I know that yesterday I had a high carbohydrate day which definitely can influence the scale. However again this was the main reason that I put away the scale. The scale is a number and we as females give that number way too much power.  I am 8 weeks into my 12 week P90X program. I know from doing this program before that my body muscle mass and definition is greatly enhanced during this program. It’s why I love it.  Let me also tell you a logical thing that people still fight with…1lb of fat DOES equal 1lb of muscle but the space a lb of fat takes up is larger then the space a lb of muscle takes up. So you can be much leaner but actually weigh more.I think this fitness blog I found shows it better then I can explain it. So today I’m not going to be upset with the number and keep doing what I’m doing.  Happy Sunday.
